The Desert Nudes are back at NOLA Brewing on Friday, May 29 with their mix of cowboy soul, roots rock, and laid-back harmonies that always feels right at home in the taproom. Easygoing but full of energy, this is the kind of show that pairs perfectly with a cold beer and a Friday night crowd.

One heads up: this one gets rolling a little earlier than usual with a 6pm start time, so come hungry, come thirsty, and settle in early. Free show. All ages welcome.

FireBrain joins forces with Claude Bryant & The Allstars for a Reggae Mash-Up Night at NOLA Brewing on Saturday, May 30. Expect reggae grooves, roots rhythms, soulful jams, and the kind of laid-back Saturday night energy that keeps the room moving from start to finish.

This collaboration brings together strong players, good vibes, and a sound built for cold drinks, pizza, and dancing with friends. Music starts at 7pm with craft beer, cocktails, wings, pizza, and the full bar available all night long at NOLA Brewing.

The Bluegrass Pickin' Party is an open acoustic bluegrass jam.  Bring your guitar, banjo, mandolin, fiddle, bass, dobro, harmonica, or singing voice to join the jam circle. Beginners welcome to come and learn traditional bluegrass music. Intermediate and advanced players welcome as well.   This weekly jam is also open to anyone and everyone who'd like to come listen and enjoy the music.

On Sunday, June 7, NOLA Brewing hosts Ramblin’ Women, a special tribute celebrating the life, music, and enduring influence of Hazel Dickens in honor of what would have been her 101st birthday. A pioneering voice in bluegrass and folk music, Dickens helped open doors for generations of women in roots music while writing songs that carried deep emotion, hard truths, and a fierce sense of humanity.

This tribute brings together an outstanding lineup of women performers from across the folk, bluegrass, old-time, and Americana worlds for an evening inspired by Dickens’ powerful catalog and spirit. Rather than a straightforward tribute show, Ramblin’ Women feels more like a gathering of kindred voices carrying forward the tradition Hazel helped shape.

Expect soaring harmonies, timeless songs, and a room full of musicians paying tribute to one of the most important and influential figures bluegrass music has ever produced.
