The American Sector Restaurant & Bar in The National WWII Museum will host “An Evening with NOLA Brewing” on Thursday, February 7th at 7 PM. Executive Chef JD Eubanks will prepare the 4-course dinner menu expertly paired with a different NOLA Brewing beer for each.
$65/person plus tax and gratuity
FIRST
Butcher board fried pig ear salad with NOLA beer dressing, trotter terrine, beer fermented cabbage salad, finished with blueberry relish, house-made lavash, and apple brined carrots.
Paired with Muses, a Belgian pale ale with banana notes.
SECOND
Smoked drum deviled egg with tempura crab claw and black garlic and a beer purée with NOLA beer mustard mousse over collard green kimchi.
Paired with Prytania Porter, a rich imperial porter with black coffee and Baker’s chocolate notes.
THIRD
Choice of gnocchi with beer braised rabbit with fresh herbs and fried shaved sun chokes or bronzino stuffed with crawfish, crab, and oyster dressing over a seasonal vegetable ragout.
Paired with Moonshoes, a New England IPA with strong tropical fruit hop aroma.
DESSERT
Focaccia blackberry beer foie gras bread pudding with berry anglaise finished with dark chocolate stout ice cream.
Paired with Piety, wild sour aged in cab barrels with fresh cherries.
