Kick off 2019 with one of the most infamous bad movies in history, Troll 2 (1990, PG-13). The story follows a family visiting the town of Nilbog on a home exchange program for vacation. The resident goblins have other plans as they try to force the family to consume suspiciously green foods in order to turn them into half-plant half-humans, which are the goblins’ favorite food. Along the way, we encounter helpful dead grandpas, a popcorn sex scene, absolutely no trolls in the movie, potted human plants, literally crazy actors, dialogue written by a non-English speaker, and a whole lot of pissing on hospitality. Come out and join the Bad Movie Society for a movie that’s on the Mount Rushmore of terrible cinema!
